Join us and sell thousands of interesting products to a variety of customer types ranging from public sector, private corporates, NGOs to small sole traders. Our products are bought by everyone - you can easily find customers. We focus mainly on Essex and East Anglia but you could sell nationwide. We have hundreds of suitable prospects identified with contact details so you can hit the ground running.
The products sold range from small low cost items - (a box of Bic pens is only £2.49) to office machines costing many hundreds or office furniture installations costing £1000's. Successful sales strategies will involve creative thinking and you can easily build a customer base as there are hundreds of potential customers. Our emphasis is on building relationships with customers and as most products are consumables you get repeat sales. This is not just a job based on making calls mechanistically but you will need to be focussed on achieving results.
You get full backing over pricing flexibility and all other types of support from us; just be yourself and prove you can sell. We already have IT systems that help you identify lapsed accounts, "gaps" in products sold and other profit opportunities. You will also participate in marketing and sales promotions to help you build sales revenue.
Applicants must have 3 years telemarketing experience, an outgoing personality, plenty of style, energy and enthusiasm.You must be articulate, numerate and PC literate.

Job Description:
A varied and interesting role including :
Serve customers calling in showroom for retail sales; also will do binding, laminating, faxing and other document services using a sophisticated printer/copier;
Maintain retail stock displays, update pricing in showroom; use a cash till, credit card terminal; balance the cash till
Use office LAN; access the Internet to find information on products, competitors, maintain customer and product databases, some DTP; use of MS Office Suite of software - Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Access and contact management software
Assist with sales admin - answer incoming phones and take orders; get prices on goods to be purchased from suppliers; organize returns
Assist with general admin tasks; filing statements, matching Purchase orders/Delivery notes/purchase invoices
Some housekeeping - hoovering, dusting, etc
Previous
experience and personal attributes required:
Either customer
service or retail - perhaps weekend or evenings done whilst at
school; or Trident experience
Confident, self assured personality; a people oriented individual
Lots of energy and able to work under some pressure
Good personal organizational skills
Will have some computer skills; fairly numerate and articulate
Training:
Mainly on the job for office products will be provided; will also encourage candidate to take up other structured training e.g. NVQs, evening courses at College, etc
